Retford FC have welcomed back Tom Armstrong who returns to the club as physio. Tom originally arrived at the club in 2017, working at all levels of the club from the first team through to the ladies before taking a break at the end of the 2022/23 season.
After a season away from the club, he will return for the new campaign in a move that has delighted Chris Woodhead, “Tom was a massive part of the journey we are on and we missed him when he decided to take a break."
"I’d like to thank Alice Richards who came with us last season, a very popular figure in the dressing room and we wish her all the best as she moves onto the next step in her career. I am delighted that Tom has come back into the Retford family. He knows us well and we know him so it should be a seamless transition.”
