Retford FC have completed the acquisition of Jacob Priestnall from Retford United.
The 19 year old defensive midfielder will be a superb addition to our Under 21 side for next season. He was Retford United Under 21 captain and gained first team experience with the Badgers having played several games in the league and scoring one goal (ironically against Retford FC earlier this campaign), is expected to be a key feature in the first team this season.
This will be a signing that will turn many heads with Chris Woodhead saying, "I'm looking to build for next season and having seen Jacob play for both the Under 21's and first team last season he is one player that I know will slot straight into our plans and I am looking forward to working with him and supporting his development."
